Xiang Yu managed to struck fears on Han troops, and routed them all. The Han army under Liu Bang collapsed. Chu troops followed and slaughtered. Xiang Yu was also known to be the master of every weapon, especially maces, spears, and swords. Legends pointed out that he was no match in his ability to use these weapons. Xiang Yu managed to beat everyone on duel, even five best Han generals who fought with Xiang Yu simultaneously could not defeat him. On the last day on his life (his troops were ALL deserted or killed), he single-handedly fought thousands of Han troops who surrounded him. He killed several hundred of Han soldiers.
